The apartment is very spacious, new, and the location is excellent. We rented it for €60 / day, which is highly recommended in terms of price/value ratio.

El Cotillo is a quiet town and the beaches nearby aren't super super busy.
Great surf spots just a short walk down the coast.
Enough supermarkets nearby.
Easy to reach by car.
Enough places to eat for a few nights a week but will need to go further if you're staying for weeks.

El Cotillo is lovely for a stroll and to have a drink whilst watching the sun go down. It’s equally good for rock pool swimming and surfing, so depends what you want.
There are a variety of shops, mostly geared to tourists and some hardware stores. There are a couple of supermarkets so easy to get what you need.
Not a resort as such but more occupied by locals, surfers and some tourists (in January anyway).

El Cotillo has been our 'go to' place for the last 10 years.
El Cotillo has been our 'go to' place for the last 10 years. We mostly stay at the same apartments. It is quiet compared to Correalajo..The beach is a couple of mins walk. There are great restaurants in the harbor area. The Beach Suite Cotillo Apartments are exceptional!

Beaches, weather and food was amazing.
Beaches, weather and food was amazing. If you go to the beach be prepared for lots of naked people. I wouldn’t take kids there, very concerning. The locals of El Cotillo know you’re a tourist and they have no problem making you very aware of this fact (long stares, tutting, grumpy and rude attitude) - not all of them of course, but the majority. The vibe of the place is really weird and off, never quite been anywhere like it, made to feel unwelcome and I have travelled the world extensively. The Argentinian restaurant is by far the best if not only place worth going for food (actually seem somewhat friendly and welcoming of tourists) there are no activities unless you go to the marina in the next town over - that town is a lot more friendly and good things to do / busy streets etc. Good for a short break but no longer than 4 days max!!!!

Smaller than most resorts, maintaining an element of it's old fishing past. This was great compared to our first week in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote which was much bigger, busier and more touristy.
However, it can be quiet and this will not suit everybody. There is quite a lot of development to the north outside of the main town, with some large apartment complexes. I fear that it will become too big for the limited facilities in town.

Cotillo is a beautiful relaxing place.
Cotillo is a beautiful relaxing place. It has a charming old town full of character. Beautiful beaches, all within walking distance but if you have a car, you can park pretty much anywhere without having to pay! Places to eat I would recommend are, Olivo Curso, Bar Central, El Tostan, La Marisma, The Blue Cow and Ajueva. Cheapest supermarket is the Superdino on the outskirts of the village and also there is a Chinese shop that sells pretty much everything. Fab Chinese takeaway/restaurant in town and a bakery that sells amazing goods.
Wonderful stay in apartment Marfolin 28. location and view are fabulous across the lagoon beach to playa concha. Balcony is huge and apartment is really comfortable and well appointed. Didn’t’t eat in much but should you want to everything you need is provided in the kitchen. Quiet with just the sound of the sea. Walking distance to the island’s best beach La Concha, supermarket 2 mins walk away and just 10 mins to the old harbour and restaurants. El Cotillo is the closest you get to the Fuerte of 30 years ago.
The perfect communication with the host. The host provided very useful guidance for the check-in procedure.
The apartment was very clean and contained all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils to prepare meals.
I appreciate the gesture with a welcome cold beer in place in the fridge ;)
The location was great, in the center of the Cotillo town near (walking distance) supermarkets, coffees, beach, restaurants and bank.
I strongly recommend Casa Cotillo if you visit this area in Fuerteventura.
Very well appointed apartment in a great location. It is in a quiet area but very close to lots of bars and restaurants near the harbour and beach, so a totally ideal location whatever you are looking for. Very easy stroll down to the centre of El Cotillo with more restaurants, bars and beaches. Plenty of on road parking right outside the property. Nice roof terrace with far reaching views, a real sun trap. What more could you want!
We like everything here! 🔥 Great location, good Internet and sound system, very well kitchen with a lot of necessary equipment, drinking water, cozy bedroom, towels, shower, everything there is in very hight standard, perfect place to spend holidays at El Cotillo! Close to the beach and lagoons, amazing rooftop terrace to chill, access to the washing machine. Feels better than at home! 🔥 ❤️ 🔥
The apartment is located in a very quiet area. Even the building that was going on near there didn't make for a lot of disturbance (only heard something for 1 afternoon). All kinds of restaurants and shops nearby, lots of parking space and the apartment itself is very spacious. At night it's easy to come in too, as there's a security light that comes on when you approach the door.
Alfred, the host, was incredibly helpful and provided us with valuable recommendations. Overall, Casa Alfred in El Cotillo exceeded our expectations. It provided us with comfort, convenience, and a fantastic location to explore the beauty of Fuerteventura. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable vacation by the beach.
Great location (steps to the beach, steps and minutes to the restaurants and lively areas), incredible communication from the owners, nicely equipped kitchen, amazing rooftop space, a washing machine (two in fact!), easy parking, great town, and nice welcome goodies. Everything I needed for a five night stay.
Easy check in, functional interior and kitchen, great balcony with view, quiet sleeping room. The beach nearby is great when the waves aren't too huge. Had an issue with the WiFi on arrival and they fixed it within an hour, then very fast WiFi. Overall very responsive and helpful contact.
It's perfect! In the middle of El Cotillo, close to everything - bars, shops, beach, restaurants...
The place is new and fresh so you really feel comfortable, there's a huge TV in the living room, brand new kitchen, a shower and a bedroom with terrace. Thank you Simona for your help!
Very friendly during check . Very nice small apartment in central location.
Great place to stay for a few days with all you need in the area..beaches,shops, restaurants etc.
Cotillo is great place to visit.
Go to the French bakery.. they have some amazing cakes and coffee.
Perfect location, close to beaches, (La Piedra being one of the best beaches in El Cotillo) restaurants, cafes and a supermarket.
The flat was spotless and very well equipped.
Marcial and Elisa provided excellent communication and instructions.
clean, spacious and had all the amenities necessary for a vacation. We enjoy or stay at this property as it was very confortable and close to everything. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we are in Cotillo.
The host Monica was amazing. She contributed in making our trip to Fuerteventura greater. She showed us what is worthy to be seen in 3 days. The hotel was sooo confortable. We would come back again.
Beautiful apartment, comfy bed, great sea & sun set views from the private balcony &
Rooftop terrace. Great location , short walk to the beach & fishing village centre of charming El
Cotillo.
The hotel was spotless and in a great location, in walking distance to the beach, local shops and restaurants. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.
