Beautiful garden and lovely historic building. The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I felt safe during my stay. The service from the ladies was very nice, though the gentlemen were quite stiff in their manner, and there was a long wait for everything.

The owner was wonderful and accommodating. The inn was lovely and amazing food. GREAT stay!
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people.
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people. Expensive, but guess being close to Edinburgh things will be dearer. An excellent train service reasonably priced. Roadworks all over the place causing uproar on the roads when we were there but never once saw an actual workman working on the holes. Plenty of good eating places, a few cosy traditional pubs. Beautiful beach with plenty of access points. Many places of interest to visit such as the Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle, National Museum of Flight and more.
Tesco and Aldi nearby. Two very good caravan/camping parks. Nice leisure centre. Everywhere you go there are marvellous containers of beautifully colourful flowers all planted by volunteers from the town.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

A Great Location.
The location is lovely. The communal sitting area behind the reception is a lovely airy, open, light room with a beautiful view. Having a drink of an evening there is just heaven, and makes the hotel. I also loved the saunas and steam rooms - the size of the pool is great too. I loved that they offered free exercise classes to all hotel guests. The food at breakfast and the bar meal we had was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely - friendly and efficient.
- central location with doorstep parking. easy access to the Main Street and beach.
- lovely modern house, kitchen had everything you need to cater if you prefer, very clean, really comfortable living space
- small private patio area with lighting is a bonus to enjoy the outdoors
- the welcome pack was super, thoughtful extras also available such as tea, coffee, sugar and condiments.
- host was quick to respond to requests
The apartment was gorgeous - really clean, cosy and just a few steps away from the one of North Berwick's beautiful beaches. Everything we needed was there and was all new and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wine and biscuits on arrival were a really nice touch. We were able to arrange a slightly earlier chek-in which was excellent and communication with the host was easy and friendly.
Great location, very comfortable bed, spacious for two.. kitchen small hut perfect for a short break for a couple. Lovely shower . Great private courtyard .Very quiet and in a perfect location for the beach..one minute walk, and all the bars, restaurants of North Berwick. Host was very quick to reply to questions. Would recommend and will definitely rectify we decide to go to North Berwick again.
I got the last available room and was a little troubled by the price but it was a real treat. Great location, really lovely, engaging owner and staff, and I loved dinner and the super tented patio bar area. Also enjoyed the bath - so many places don't real how important a bath is when you're in pampering mode. Have already recommended this place to others!
Super property within a few steps of the beach and the high street. Perfectly located for all the boat trips on offer from the harbour at North Berwick and all the walks on offer in the local area. We absolutely loved our short stay here and were sorry to leave. I've spent the last few days recommending it to everyone I know.
Fabulous little apartment, right on the beach only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The apartment was spotless and well equipped as well as being very nicely decorated and comfortable. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time exploring the area. Really can't fault it and would definitely return.
Frank was really helpful, we had a FaceTime chat and could see the location of the keysafe, and the layout of the house. Frank was in regular contact throughout our stay and would have been on hand to answer any questions if we needed.
Perfect location to see North Berwick, we will be back.
Everything in this hotel was awesome. Staff, cleanliness, food and spa facilities, all get top marks. This hotel really is faultless. The evening meal and breakfast were both exceptional with good vegan options. The location is biscuit tin beautiful too. Get booking!!!
Great apartment with all the up to date equipment. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. It is about 10 mins walk to all the shops and restaurants, but the Nether Abbey Hotel is about 2 mins away and does great food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

We loved the 'secret gardens' surrounding the property, the elegant yet comfortable rooms, the efficient kitchen and the wonderful mattress. We both slept so well! North Berwick is lovely stay on the coast away from the busy City.
