Campus Hotel, hotel in Debrecen

Campus Hotel is located 600 metres from the Debrecen-Csapókert Train Station.

If I didn't know it is actually a student's dorm, I wouldn't guess... it's a very nice temporary hotel, more confortable than many others with `etiquette` that I have seen in Hungary. Very close to the Aqua Park, University, yet far away from the city center... so depends on what you target when booking in Debrecen.

The location of this apartment was spot on!

The location of this apartment was spot on! Right in the heart of the city centre, walking distance to the train station and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Sitting on the tiny balcony in the morning for coffee or evening for a glass of wine was very nice. So many great restaurants are in the area and the standard of food is very good. Over the past 5 years we have seen so many changes to the City, Every time we visit, there are new restaurants and coffee shops, renovated walkways, and gardens. The architecture of the buildings is beautiful although there are now so many newly built modern flats being built too. What I love the most about Debrecen is the quietness. The tram system is so efficient there are less cars & pollution. I always feel healthier when I'm here. Visit the zoo & Lake Tisza. I would definitely recommend this city and the apartment we stayed in.

Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be.

Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be. People are polite and respectful. there are things to do and visit. I would definitely recommend visiting the Deri Museum and Reformed College where lovely staff took me around to show and tell, a special thank you to Zsuzsanna, who accompanied me throughout my visit as i was the only visitor then and i loved it. We also visited Aquaticum and Thermal Baths, and had a ride on the steam train, lovingly called Zsuzsi Vonat by locals. If you get tired of being there, venture off to Eger, amazing historical city 2.5hrs away from Debrecen by bus, or for more thermal baths head to Hajduszoboszlo, 30 min away by bus. For a nature fix, go to the Hortobagy National Park which is around 1 hour away by bust but worth the visit. Debrecen may seem a little too quite, i don't wanna say boring, at times, but it grows on you and wins you over with its provincial charm.

I live here for 9 months each year, I love Debrecen, in the city centre everything you need is no more than 1000 metres away, the shopping facilities are excellent and the flower festival in august is a " do not miss " activity.

We chose Debrecen because it was at a perfect distance from Nyíregyháza Zoo (1 hour away) and Hajdúszoboszló Spa (30 minutes away), so we didn't really had time to visit the city, but we stayed at a hotel near the historical center of the city and what we've seen was nice. Also my wife and my daughter bought a lot of clothes easier and cheaper than Pandorf.

Debrecen is a lovely place to visit, shop and relax, we have done this many times over the years. We have always been meaning to try the hotel, we were not disappointed. Free on site parking at rear of hotel. Just a few minuets walk to the main shopping Forums, plenty of restaurants nearby. Some great late night street bars close by. Hotel furnishing are very ornate, nice to see. We will be staying there on our next visit shortly.

The hotel was great. Super room, with a balcony overlooking the main street. A ood view. Close to a tram stop, 4 stops from the railway station.Perfect. Breakfast had bacon, not always an option in the past few days, and was good. In the probably unlikely event that I visit Debrecen again(I was there for a football match), I would definitely stay there again.

This property has a large, walled-in garden with plenty of things to do including hot tub, pool, exploring, fire pits and a pond. It is ideal if you have a pet and children. Plus you are short drive form anything you want/need in Debrecen. If you are looking for a venue that is nicer than camping but a bit less than a hotel, this place is for you.

Great location, walking distance from the train station and it is in the center of the city. The flat is well equipped, modern looking and comfortable, the bathroom is exceptional (both a huge bathtub and a shower booth), the kitchen is fully equipped and suitable to make a full Sunday lunch (but don't do it, Debrecen offers great restaurants)

The location in Debrecen was really very good as it was close to many important sights and also close to a tram stop. The tram was very useful for going back and forth to the train station, the Great Forest Park and Debrecen University. The apartment was very comfortable for my needs. Was easy to work with the owner using WhatsApp and email.
