Situated in central Storvågan, Nyvågar offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and 2-floor apartments in traditional Norwegian fishermen’s cottages. All include a balcony or terrace.

Super comfy and warm apartment. There is big living room with good equipped kitchen, fireplace and exit to the big terrace with spectacular views to the fjord and mountains. The towels, linens are fresh. Beds are comfy. Heated floor in the bathroom.

Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.

I was there with my husband and sons 16 and 18. There was so much to do, indoor (sauna, tabletennis, badmintonfield) and outdoor (hikes, kanoeing, motorboat, swimming) activities. But if you are over 180cm you need to consider that the only areas in de cabin where you can stand up straight are the kitchen area (including diningtable) and the bathroom. You need to walk around bent over in the livingroom and sleeping attic. Maybe they have different cabins with a higher ceiling, you should check, because we loved the place in spite of this obstacle.

we were in a appartment for 4 adults. but it was so small , we couldn't open our suitcast. for sleeping one should pass over his partner. the shower room was small and the toilet inside so two persons could not use it at the same time. this place can be good only for 2 adultes, maybe with 1 child.
it is the second time for us that details in booking com are not fit to the reality. so, we were very unsatisfied

Great little town with supermarket open until 11.00 but remember draconian approach to buying alcohol!!
Great pub/restaurant by the water in the main square. A people wonderfully friendly.
Perfect locartion for exploring Lofoten.
The room we had was large with a large bathroom. The views from the room were stunning.
This was part hostel part hotel, we were in the hotel part but had the opportunity to use the facilities of the hostel such as the kitchen and laundry if we wanted to.
Breakfast was included and had an excellent choice, also free tea, coffee and juice during the day.
This was a perfect base for us and if we were to be back in the area again I would definitely stay again.
Reception was welcoming and check in easy, very helpful staff.
It is actually a dormitory during the school year.
It's not the luxury of a hotel, but the rooms are spacious and very clean.
There was no television in our room.
There is the option to store food in communal refrigerators, and there is also a well-equipped shared kitchen where you can do laundry.
The breakfast is very decent.
The location is ideal, with the possibility of finding a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.
Would definitely come back.
I had a fantastic time in my cabin. The facilities at the campsite were in close proximity, always clean and tidy and fully equipped for cooking. The campsite is super close to a lovely hiking trial and in walking distance to the shop in Kabelvag. I did not have a car, but I managed very well without. The wifi was great in the cabin so I was able to even get some work done. If you are looking for a couple days of solitude and peace I can highly recommend this place!
LOVED the amazingly delicious breakfast! It was the BEST breakfast we had during our stay in Norway. Cheers to the Chef and staff for the beautiful display of food. The location of the hotel was awesome, very quiet, beautiful and serene. We loved reading our books on the deck and watching the sailboats come in. The room was clean, beds were so very comfortable, shades made the rooms dark, parking was right outside. We will return to your AWESOME hotel.
We loved the house and it was the most perfect apartment we have been to during our trip through northern Norway! Incredible view from the terrace, the snowy mountains, their reflection in the water and we were lucky enough to even see the Northern Lights! It was incredible to see them almost from the living room! Very clean and very good equipped kitchen! We would have loved to stay longer! Absolutely recomendable!
The dreamy cabin in the woods was a gem.
Well equipped with fridge, utensils, and small appliances. Wifi was also satisfying.
All the other facilities (kitchen, showers, wc) are also in great proximity.
The area is full of short or longer trails and the surroundings are magnificent.
There is a bus stop, just 7min on foot, and the bike path that can take you all the way to Kabelvag.
This is the best accommodation I've stayed in while travelling in dozens of countries! The hosts are very nice and patient, they made us feel the warmest welcome. Everything is new and clean, the atmosphere is very cosy. The location is really convenience to travel in Lofoten. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every moment in this apartment, it makes our trip in Norway perfect.
Great breakfast, maybe best ever in a hotel. Nice staff, great kitchen with all necessities, clean and nice room for two, awesome bed. Ouf room had a sink which was a plus. We got to wash clothes for ~6€ which was really nice (we even got a detergent tablet from the hotel). Parking was free and close.
- our room was spacious with a nice view to the sea and the nearby mountain
- breakfast was great
- hotel is in a beautiful location and within a short walking distance from a gallery, a museum, and an aquarium
- spa: the sauna had a nice view and the relaxation room was great
Very nice and clean modern house with a nice view in a quite area. The house is very well located to visit the Lofoten, and close to shops in Kabelvag or Svolvaer (if you have a car). Hosts are very helpful.
We really felt like home here! The place is really cozy and has everything you need. It's in Kabelvag, close to a lot of amazing places to visit. We were lucky and saw the northern lights from this place.
I loveee everything about the stay. The view, the facilities, the location. Camilla was so nice and willing to help. I would recommend the unit to everybody travelling to Lofoten, Kabelvag to be precise.
Lovely cottage with all necessary facilities. Good restaurant close to the cottages for those who do not want to cook themselves. Beautiful landscape. Absolutely my favourite hotel during our trip!
Whole hotel and rorbus were nicely decorated, very stylish. We loved the book Lofoten Vibe in our rorbu - learnt a lot of interesting facts.
Breakfast was delicious, brownie was outstanding!
The camping located in a small peninsula near Kabelvåg. We stayed in a cosy cabin near the sea water. It includes a spacious living room with a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a bedroom.
Wonderful place. We were in the hotel part with a lake view, room was cozy, breakfast was very good. People are nice and friendly. We had a great time there.
Very quiet area and house. Very central. Very nice host. Very inexpencive. Kabelvåg is beautiful. Don't miss the "Lofoten cathedral" (Kabelvåg church).
