It was great for this purpose, but if I was booking this stay as a spa location I would have been disappointed. Beautiful setting, lovely grounds surrounding the hotel to relax in. There is a lovely small playground for children to enjoy. We had a very spacious room with a lovely view of the lake.

Pictures don’t do it full justice - it feels like a lovely Mediterranean boutique hotel. Not only decoration but also all kinds of kitchen and hygiene materials were considered. I want to stay with my wife again as soon as possible.

The best thing I remember is his guide tour to the property with a very kind explanation. Plus my kids and I pretty much enjoyed the countyside of Germany.

Our rate was €189 per night which was overpriced given the general dinginess of the hotel. And for a spa hotel we were told we had to pay to even enter the spa. Not right! The reception staff was unfriendly and not helpful.
