Langebaan remains our home away from home. This is where we go to relax and recharge. We also say if the Lord blesses us with the riches people think we have, we are moving to Langebaan in a heartbeat. We always frequent the Club Mykonos casino and we love the main beach. We usually dine at Roxie's or Pearly's on the main beach but the options are endless. We have our own transport so I am not sure of transport options in Langebaan to get around.

Great Spar and Woolies.
Great Spar and Woolies. Our 2 favorite bars are Wunderbar and the bar at the Farmhouse Hotel that also has a pool table. Our favorite restaurants are Queens Cottage (woodburning kitchen, some of the best food we've ever eaten) and LePetit Maison (French inspired, brilliant!!)
They have their own uber service called "dial a buddy" , very clever idea and super reasonable.
The beach walks are lovely.
It's generally a peaceful town, but with loads of activities, so you'll never get bored.

Perfect kitesurfing destination, we were able to kite 8 out of 14 days due to wind (February). Not many restaurants but some pretty good. Convenient near-by supermarket. Load shedding affects Langebaan as it does the rest of the country. In general the village feels safe and relaxed.

We went to Langebaan to celebrate our anniversary and booked strandloper for our anniversary dinner. The experience was amazing, the vibe was great and staff are super friendly. We had a taste of all the delicious meals Langebaan had to offer. The sunset was beautiful and therapeutic to watch in between the meal breaks. I am definitely going back.

Langebaan is an awesome place for a break away from the busy city life in Capetown. There's alot to do in and around Langebaan. Great activities for families and really safe. Their restaurants are great and beaches clean. I will recommend Langebaan to anyone for a relaxing break away. Will definitely be back. Next time I will make sure to stay in a holiday house as booked and not a building complex
The location was perfect. I particularly loved the proximity of the secure green belt where I could get a good safe walk on my own in fynbos nature and end up on the beach. Wonderful
Access via the Langebaan Gate to West Coast National Park was easy. There I hiked the Bakoor
trail with my friend , an Honary Game Ranger, and enjoyed masses of wild flowers and birdlife in the serene bird hide.
We loved the view and icecream at SharkBay , lunch at Perly's on Main Beach and sundowners at Mark's Beach Bar on Calypso Beach
Fantastic location on the edge of the lagoon. Our room was the deluxe suite with the bath in so well located on the right front side. The views are stunning. The hotel is great albeit the menu is quite small for dinner. Breakfast was okay but a bit strange with Quiche and Cheese grillers. We felt a more traditional English breakfast would be better. One night stay and had a lovely time relaxing in the peach and quite of Langebaan Lagoon
Excellent breakfast, great choices to match all tastes, great coffee choices also. Friendly staff and professional service. Loved the freshly baked scones and tea served on the patio with a view worth a visit on its own! Nice large bedroom, kingsize bed, quality linen and very clean. Very friendly welcome on arrival and assistance was provided, facilities are very clean throughout the hotel and request were responded to immediately.
The venue is quiet and safe. There was wood available on arrival as well as Towels for the pool. They cater for your animals so there is a dog food /water bowl. They provide the braai utensils, all other cutlery. The rooms are spacious with wall heater panels in each room. They have solar therefore there was no load shedding.
There is also a Hotel down the road and I had a massage at their SPA.
The Farmhouse Hotel is a great mix of modern elegance and old-world charm. It is located close to the lagoon and nature reserve. The breakfasts are delicious and the afternoon tea and scones are a treat. The views of the lagoon, especially at sunset, are breathtaking. Visit Kraalbaai in the nature reserve – it's one of the best beaches in South Africa.
A wonderful place to stay. Our hosts were friendly and wanted to do all they could to make our stay special. We stayed for 4 nights and we only booked 2!
Beautiful rooms, clean and wonderfully kept. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in Langebaan. We loved everything about our stay. Thanks Niko and his lovely wife.
An amazing piece of Heaven close to main attractions in Langebaan. If you love the ocean and kite surfing, this is the spot. The house had all the amenities a person can expect to make your stay exceptionally comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming and very friendly. Will definitely be back but for longer next time.
The location is obviously top class. It's really the best place to stay in Langebaan. The place was bigger than I thought and that was quite nice. We did get load shedding a couple of times but it was well set up for that with rechargeable lights and it was a great time to go walk on the beach and watch the stars.
everything. The host was so friendly. The accommodation was so comfortable, cozy and immaculate. Paulina prepared a wonderful breakfast for us for our early start. I highly recommend this to anyone staying over for one or more nights in Langebaan. I wish we could have enjoyed the property for longer.
Very nice location in the street going to Langebaan main beach and kitespot. Allows to walk to the restaurant at night.
Easy access and parking.
Small but sufficient equipment for a couple of nights.
As there are no balcony, not a great place if you have wet gears to dry up at night.
The apartment was spotless. Very well equipped with iron, ironing board and all self catering needs...
Securely located in Langebaan country estate and close to all amenities and 2 minute drive to the beach. Host was fantastic and gave us an early check in once cleaning was done.
We had an overall amazing experience. From the friendliness from Lara at reception, throughout every person we came into contact. Breakfast was superb! Supportive friendly staff with a beautiful decored environment. It's definitely my new home when visiting Langebaan!
This Boutique Hotel and the location is absolutely wonderful. The ambiance of the hotel is great and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very good overall. The spa treatment - a full body massage was lovely.
Location was perfect for Langebaan. Underground Parking was easy and secure. Staff helpful getting us Ice Cubes for our cool box and booking Fat bikes to ride on the beach. Nice breakfast. Good value for money
We enjoyed our stay. The unit we stayed in had everything we needed. Annie was a wonderful host, giving us recommendations of places to go and things to do in Langebaan.
It was exactly what I wanted. I treated my Sister & Brother to Club Mykonos, Langebaan, to celebrate her 70th birthday & our reunion with my Brother after 7 years.
The location was good and we were lucky with the weather, seeing that Langebaan can be quite windy. The house was clean and everything one needs is provided.
