The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly and helped us a lot throughout our stay (recommendations, taxi booking etc.). The location couldn’t be any better. The hotel as well as our room were very very clean. The variety of breakfast was also big with many options to choose from! All in all we fully enjoyed our stay and hope to be visiting Catalonia Puerta del Sol soon again! We highly recommend it.

Close to the tourist sights and a wide array of excellent bars, restaurants and shops. My room overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet, despite the Dos de Mayo festivities going on during my stay. There was no coffee/tea facilities in the room but a breakfast of water and pastries was delivered to the door in a bag each morning. There is a lounge in the basement of the hotel with free coffee, juice, pasties and fruit, open 24hrs. Very helpful and pleasant staff at check-in.BrianIreland
