Staff: took the time to remember our names before we even got there, super hospitable, and always make sure to prioritize the guests. They went above and beyond for any requests we had. Room: cleanliness & amenities felt like a hotel, decor felt like home, perfect mix Food/bar: local bar is right downstairs (but split from the hotel side if you just need entrance/exit), what else could you want. Food was really good as well. They also have a sister restaurant that books out down the street! This is our favorite hotel that we've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back, thank you to everyone at Lochindaal!

Featuring a fitness centre and a garden, Machrie Hotel & Golf Links is situated just outside Port Ellen. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The hotel is located in a charming location, surrounded by green fields, mostly arranged for golf, and in the distance you can see the sea. Although the hotel is designed primarily for golfers, I have nothing in common with this sport, but I still felt the energy and joy of being part of this atmosphere. The diner was very tasty and presented in an very elegant way, the restaurant staff very kind and polite. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, served in an place with a beautiful view of surroundings.

The Port Charlotte Hotel is a real jewel on the island. Fantastic views across the bay. The hotel position is made even better by the food choice and quality and where possible use of island produce. All this is topped of with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A fabulous stay. I will definitely be returning to the Port Charlotte Hotel

Pokoje wyposażone są w ekspres do kawy. - the rooms where super clean and comfy - there was a bathtub - the staff was polite and very supportive - the hot breakfast was servered fresh directly after ordering what you desire - threre was a good selection of coffee, tea, and juices - alternatively to the hot breakfast there was also cerial, toast, Croissants, and sweet spread (honey, jam, hazelnut)
