My recent stay at Best Western Laegreid Hotell was a delightful experience overall. The hotel's exceptional cleanliness, from the lobby to our hotel room, provided a comforting sense of hygiene throughout our stay. The American-style interior design added an elegant and sophisticated touch to the hotel. The tastefully done decor created a pleasant ambiance that made us feel right at home, surpassing the typical hotel aesthetics. One of the highlights of our stay was the extensive breakfast offered by the hotel. The wide array of options catered to various tastes and dietary preferences, with something for everyone. The food's excellent quality, variety, and freshness impressed us. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of USB-A and USB-C ports next to the bed, making it incredibly convenient to charge our electronic devices without adapters or searching for outlets. Such thoughtful details showcased the hotel's commitment to a comfortable and modern stay. Moreover, there is free parking in front of the hotel from 17:00 until 8:00, adding to the convenience and value of the stay. Overall, Best Western Laegreid Hotell exceeded our expectations, with its cleanliness, stylish interior design, extensive breakfast options, and convenient amenities. We would gladly choose this hotel again in the future. For a well-maintained hotel with a touch of American flair, this is an excellent choice.

There were only two booked rooms so they didn’t serve breakfast, but they opened one room with kitchen for us so we could have used that and help ourselves :)

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

É la seconda volta che soggiorno qui e confermo che ci ritornerei. La posizione è deliziosa, affacciato su una piccola insenatura del Sognefjord ai piedi della strada turistica Aurlandsfjellet. Colazione deliziosa e buonissima anche la cena a buffet, con vasta scelta di antipasti, primi, secondi sia di carne che di pesce, contorni e dessert, tutto sommato a un prezzo nella media norvegese. Staff educato e professionale, con la giusta attenzione alla gestione degli spostamenti fra gli ospiti al fine di evitare gli assembramenti. Bravi!

Siamo stati solo due notti per giro su traghetto sul Sognefjord. Se avessimo saputo che la zona di Laerdal è così bella saremmo rimasti più a lungo. Bello l'ambiente, meravigliosa la parte vecchia del paese con un paio di vie con magnifici edifici in legno dell'800 che contengono ancora attività - bar hotel negozi. Il fiume che entra qui nel fiordo è importante per la presenza di salmoni.

La vista è meravigliosa qualsiasi sia l'esposizione della camera. La struttura ha uno stile unico e incantato, calda, comoda e accogliente, nonostante le dimensioni ridotte della camera e del bagno. Arredata con gusto. Personale gentilissimo.Ricca e buona la colazione .Giardino curatissimo. Buono anche il gastropub attiguo alla locanda che serve piatti tipici in maniera informale.

I have travelled in Norway long and far and this has been the most beautiful place for me - breathtaking mountains and you could see glaciers to your left and right. Our cabin was big and had a toilet and kitchen inside and was high ceilings and felt spacious. The glacier is super close and you must visit it! I had a lovely chat with the lady at the reception that gave me a bit of history about the place. I absolutely loved it here and plan on coming back next year.

Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use. The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple.
